Rebuilding Hawks value the picks a lot more than the players. No thanks

I’m a little skeptical of that D core, feel like Lyabushkin needs a bigger sample size in top 4.

Given Muzzin's age, cap hit, recent injuries, no trade clause, and concussion issues, I don't think the Leafs have any strength in regards to getting a 2nd rounder for Muzzin.

Can the Kings find a younger, healthier, effective, and cap friendly left shot defense from the free agency over Muzzin, rather than selling assets for him? I think so.

I think you're being kind. Muzzin is absolutely untradable for the reasons you gave. As is Mrzarek due to his contract and play. That gives the Leafs 9.5m in cap that is staying on their roster.

Mrazek cleared waivers meaning any team could have grabbed him for free and didn't. Nobody wants that contract as of now and certainly a rebuilding team doesn't want it.

thank god someone gets it. The kings have too many players to find playing time. If any moves are gonna be made this offseason they are gonna be bringing in less players than they deal out.

Sometimes this logic doesn’t make sense for teams. For example teams may not have the roster space or contract limits. That’s why teams will then trade for said player and give up another player to free up “contract” space basically.

We had the space and capacity to take his deal. Hawks should steer clear unless paid to take that contract.

Mrazek clearly isn't earning his paycheck since playing behind, at the time, probably the best defense in the league. Leafs made a big mistake overpaying him and are going to likely have retain or pay someone to take that contract if they don't want Mrazek.

Well maybe take away the draft picks and give them Kerfoot to take him off the leafs hands.

That's fine. The team i'm making would trade him for a 4th rounder or less if necessary.
