The pick is going the wrong way in that trade

Kings wouldn't do that trade if the pick was on the other side and it downgraded to a third if Olofsson scored 25 goals next season.

Roy probably has more value than Olofsson.

Kings have a great stable of defenseman (super jealous) but I watched their game last night and it would be awesome if they never wore those stupid chrome helmets ever again. Like one game as a schtick ok. But they look stupid on TV.

Roy is the Kings second-best defenseman, easily their best pure defensive defenseman.

The Kings cupboards are full of prospects so picks aren't as important as players like him at the Kings current phase of leaving their rebuild.

Like who looks at those and is like, yeah that’s a good idea. Whichever PR or whomever decided that’s a good look should be punted into the sun. I don’t watch many Kings games, but always kinda liked them as the Western team and was up later last night. Uttered over and over, the **** they doing here.

Love how the conversation switched to the chrome helmets. As the poster I must give my opinion. Set those things on fire and let them go back to the hell they were created.

Oh, man, the blindingly white reflection off the ice when the head is tilted even slightly downward is beyond awful. Remember when one network experimented with illuminating the puck with a comet-tail graphic? The first time I saw the helmets in action, I thought that's what was happening -- it was a special effect added by the broadcaster. Which, coming from Hollywood here, didn't strike me as out of the question.

And the guy who dreamed them up should be shot. Not fired -- shot.

If Olofsson extends for more than 3 years with LA, it could be a 1 for 1. If not, then Buffalo probably adds a 3rd or so

I think he’s here next year
We can build his stats back up if he’s healthy & then potentially get a good return
