speaking of old and slow - how many years left on this contract??

This is why people like you are so hilarious. You'll look at 10 games where any player on your team does well and that's all that matters. Whatever small sample size that fits your rhetoric is law. Just typical angry bitter Islander fans.

You keep contradicting yourself, you're talking about old and slow but that's the reason why Muzzin sucks right now. Father Time is undefeated. Muzzin fell off a cliff, he's not improving at 34 years old lol

I don’t get why it’s even a discussion though. He has full no trade protection lol.

41 games is a large sample size - you're more than welcome to try to prove me wrong about certain isles players

Muzzin has had trouble this year sure, much of it had to do with the goaltending fell apart and he got hurt. It's too early to right him off but whatever makes you feel better about your team being a loser

I don't think Lou is a good GM but is ironic that Leafs fans constantly talk about the contracts Lou has given out, but there's not one contract on the isles books aging worse than Muzzin's

I don’t want to put words in your mouth but I’m pretty relaxed. I meditate now and I do yoga twice a week with my beer league teammates.

I’m not gonna lie I hate Lou. Some leafs blogger ripped him to shreds for his work as Isles GM last summer and they were spot on.

I mean the Isles are old and slow they can’t add someone like Muzzin. They need to get younger.

I look at everything objectively, when you do that it's hard to get triggered like my guy Logan over here

Personally I’d consider a mayfield trade this off-season. I’m not sure why Lou thinks this roster can compete for a cup and I’m willing to bet you can get a good return for him. Also I like how Hutton has played and I’d be willing to go into next season with him as the third pair righty.

Yeah but I feel like calling him triggered hurts our argument here. I don’t care what people call me, I’m just here to talk about hockey during lecture lol

I think Lou has done some great things for the isles and he's also made some terrible moves. What he's done over the last year should be criticized but shouldn't take away from what he did in the first two years.

It's just funny to me when Leafs fans rip Lou but act like Dubas is a god. Dubas has made some awful moves as well. I don't think either of them are good GM's at this point

Mayfield has been great this season but I'm down to sell high. Dobson-Pulock is an elite right side, there's no reason to keep Mayfield,

I like the GM’s in Florida and Carolina cause they prioritize having young rosters.

It’s more about the fact that Grant Hutton looks like the next Mayfield. I know he is 26 and I know that he was a UDFA, but Idk that it matters given how long it took Mayfield to crack the lineup.

I would go into next season with:

    Pelech-Pulock
    Reilly-Dobson
    Salo- UFA
    Hutton

Honestly I don’t understand the obsession with player cards. They are useful, but they have some serious flaws. You ever see Brady Skjei’s player card from Dom lol. Pretty sure Dom had his market value right around Greene 😂

I don’t think he messed up by signing Tavares lmao. Every fan with half a brain knew he had one foot out the door but ownership wouldn’t let Garth Snow trade him.

You sir are a reasonable person. Have a great day

I would actually go with Hutton on the 3rd pair. Also I would probably give Bolduc a look before I make a trade for someone like Reilly.

lol like I said im not a fan of Dom's - there are many better platforms out there that accurately represent a players overall impact.
