A year of JT Miller isn’t getting Lysell and a first++

If Lysell is the primary piece, sure. But I just can’t think of any similar situations where it was the teams best prospect, and a first. It’s one or the other.

JT Miller gives one last chance for the Bruins to compete. He can play any forward spot. He plays PP and PK. He's top 10 in scoring. Without Miller, Boston has no shot against Florida, Tampa or Carolina.

Isles pass - they already have like, 4 Tanner Pearsons at home.

Not sure the Kings are the right fit for that trade. Faber isn't going anywhere and Kupari impresses more every game, both also will have relatively low cap hits.

The Kings currently need an NHL-ready 1LD or 2LD, that might be Rathbone one day, but not yet, if they had Rathbone he would fight Bjornfot for 3rd line minutes.

The King's other need is a top-line player who has finishing ability, at 14 goals on the season and never averaging more than 18 minutes a night, I don't see that as Garland.

Don’t think Faber is available in LA.

I don’t think anyone would offer a 2nd for Pearson and Honestly would rather keep Pearson for what they would offer. He’s been good

Weak return for Miller IMO. Lysell is just okay, Studnicka is no good. I'd rather just get a young roster player + 1st + 3rd than lysell and Studnicka.

Miller is good but he is only one player. It takes a TEAM to make the playoffs. If you make the dance, like the Bruins this year without Miller I might add, you have a shot. As we speak Boston is not playing any of the three teams in the first round that you you say they have no shot against. Win in the first round and there is a good chance that one or two of those three teams won't make the second round. All of a sudden their shot improves. Never say never. Personally I think the Bruins should hold their assets and look to next years UFA class to address the C position. I know a certain team in the Pacific that next year might have two top flight centers becoming UFA's.
