Montreal already has several LHD prospects who are equal to or have the potentialto be better, therefor Bean to Montreal does not work.

We will already trade Petry in the summer. Course we are gonna tank next year doesn't mean that we need to trade all our good veteran on good deal. Eddy and Savard will be perfect to teach the kids espacially with this kind of deal

I like Peeke next to Zach personally. Not sure about OP's thought process but I don't think Blankenburg is the guy for that. I think Werenski-Peeke, Gavy-Boq, ShutdownLHD-Blankenberg would be the desired look, giving every pair a more skilled dman and a more defensively focused d-man

That is fair and probably the way they will address the defence next year. Columbus might get that LHD on Free Agency.

If you are looking for a good top 4 LD we have a number of prospects we might be willing to move who could grow into that role. Although I am not sure the Jackets want to wait for that to happen and it would cost significantly more than Bean and Bemstrom. MAYBE we could be convinced to move after the lottery Eddy for the Jackets 1st (12th OVA) + the Jackets 2023 3rd round pick or Ceulemans + 2023 2nd.

If you're looking for a physical defensive dman the Jets would probably trade you Dillon, think they'd probably want to recoup at least one of the 2nds they spent on acquiring him, he's been pretty solid but they have young LHD ready for a role now.
