What part of Detroit not needing RHD don't people understand? Detroit declines Poolman isn't a need.

This has nothing to do with need. You can't really call a PPG 22yo LW with 25 goals in NCAA "scraps". That's the price for DET to take Poolman.

Okay so a RD we don't need, And a LW we don't need because we already have an over abundance of both. Trade them elsewhere Detroit's the last team that needs either Poolman or McDonagh.

McDonough did put up 25 goals this season giving him 46 in 3yrs now if he plays 1 more season and he can choose which team he want to play for. As a 7th round pick he has about an 11% chance of having a successful NHL career. Poolman isn't better than the 3 RHDs Detroit has and with 3yrs left its just not worth it.

@ItsBlowTime
I presume you are pegging that to be Dermott's value because Allvin gave up a third for him.
Since you have watched him play nearly a month you may have been able to assess that that was a HUGE over pay.
Where do you think he would fit into the Buffalo line up?
Dahlin, Power, Samuelsson, Johnson, maybe ahead of Bryson.

If you removed Okposo from the trade, Buffalo would still say no!
