Berggren is a top 3 or 4 prospect in the system, can't see them moving him unless its in a package for a big piece.

Why would the Canes consider that? Staal has been on fire lately, and is also a crucial piece of the machine that is the Canes. There is so little value to make the Canes even consider doing that. Plus he is our captain, and one of the best line drivers in the league. Martinook has little value to the rest of the league but to the Canes, he is beloved. Both are huge locker room guys, and both wear letters for a reason.

Gaudreau is having a career year with Fiala and Boldy, and he has never shown this kind of offense before. He has to be carried offensively with elite linemates to produce that offense. Hartman is way too injury prone, and is having a career year this year, and while he has shown offensive flashes in past years, before this year he topped out at 31 points. Jost is an interesting piece, and I really like him, but he has been an offensive let down. He hasn’t been able to bring his offensive production from the minors to the NHL, and it’s pretty disappointing since he was picked at 10OA. Then there is the first rounder, which will likely be about 22 or so I am guessing.

Sorry but the Canes reject that in a heartbeat, and I’m sure Staal does as well.

This is so bad. Yeah, somehow Minnesota is going to trade a good 1c , and cheap contract for your bad contract abd player? Guerin says no. Delete your 1st deal because it's so beyond bad. Minnesota isn't trading greenway after signing him to 3 years extension. This all of it has to be a bait proposals, be better
