Hey guys, you might want to change the minimum post requirement. The new agm of NYR went from like 10 posts to 50 in like 20 minutes. I'm not saying this guy is going to be bad, he might be really good and could take over a team some day. But its a good example of how quickly a troll could get to the minimum if they were really motivated

I'm actually surprised he didn't trigger some kind of spam protection from the forum.
Add a minimum sign up date, say 2 months (or 1 month if you think that's too excessive. Enough time for them to show consistent activity and familiarity with the site and creating armchair GM teams, as well as some form of history to check through and see how they converse with others.

My take on this tho is that a lot of people in this game joined the site in March when the game started. Personally if we set a another limit I'd like to see a 15 day minimum. Not sure how the others feel tho

Also since we don't even have a replacement for Dallas yet alone Pitts, I'll stay for now till we can find the replacements. Hopefully won't be too long

GYR is coming home sometime tomorrow.

Done95 is showing some reluctance to take over MTL because of the time it takes to remake every single trade. Is it really necessary to remake all the trades, when he can just create/sign/and trade to form the roster we have right now? For example: instead of remaking the whole Draisaitl deal he just goes to Edmonton and trades for Draisaitl, instead of remaking the Weber trade he just trades Weber away randomly to some team. For the sake of other GM's who want to see the trades, they can just go to the Trading Thread and see all of them.

I know from experience that remaking a team is a dreaded task.

Done95 has backed out on temporarily taking over MTL, do to real life business, he says he's content with remaining a AGM. Just thought I'd let you know, and I trust you guys can find a replacement sooner or later. I'll submit my protected list in the morning.

If you can't find a replacement for those GMs i could always make them available for anyone to come and pick.

1) for starters, Done95 and nuxfan wish to stay with their respective teams and do not want a GM job. With that, the AGM seniority list excluding them stands at: NateElder (VGK); TheGiftedYoungRider (NSH); Bo53Horvat (PIT); Icegirl (DET); Brock6Boeser (NYR)

2) Dallas GM position: just realized GYR is not next in line, it's NateElder. Hes never posted before in the game though. Matt or someone could you please contact the Vegas GM about his AGM ASAP. If he does not respond soon, GYR will take this job

3) Pittsburgh GM: GYR is in like here to take this job. However, if NateElder is not available and GYR takes Dallas, that complicates things. My assistant Bo53Horvat is next in line and I haven't heard back from him

4) Montreal temp GM position: Done95 does not wish to be temp GM of MTL. With that, Daryl can either choose from the next available AGM (which is why we need these spots filled up quickly as he leaves tomorrow, and the next avail AGM is TBD), OR he can pick another person outside the game of his choosing

5) Philly GM position: WW has been inactive for 6 days, 24 hrs till he reaches the inactivity mark. However, it doesn't look like we even have enough AGMs around for someone to take over here

So a tricky situation here. First things first is to find NateElder by asking the Vegas GM, and we'll go from there

Problem is that job isn't his. If he wants a GM job, it's Dallas. Is he still interested in that or not
