Description
Hard to target what a Kaprizov return would look like, and who pays for him. Am using this example to swap KK for two very good pieces, just to see what it would look like.

This would still be a very good lineup.

Interesting - but I am gonna say here you are probably going to get torn to shreds. Is the value there, maybe? But I would anticipate the wild are asking for more than Eichel got if they would ever even consider moving 97. Plus both players are RFA's next year which really doesn't help anything.

Both teams say hell no. Thomas is not available under any circumstances, even for Kaprizov.

They have $20 million coming off the books next off-season. Give the two new forwards raises, re-sign a goalie, extend Boldy, and there is still money leftover.

Also, Fiala is at 82 points right now after a slow start. Why do I keep seeing contracts this cheap?

If this were the price he would resign at - the wild would do it in a heartbeat.

I might be crazy for saying this, but I think St. Louis rejects. I think they’d rather have 2 75+ point scorers than 1 100+ point scorer. Thomas will sign for $7.5M AAV too and Kyrou in the middle $6.5-6.75M AAV range, so that might screw Minnesota next year.

In what world do you think Minnesota would consider trading their franchise player under contract for four years. Under no circumstances will this happen.

Because people are idiots, and they don't realize how good he is.
