There's nothing in that return worth giving up Gabe Vilardi.

Change the 2nd to Philly to future considerations, change the 3rd to a 2nd, and Arizona accepts

There would probably no chance Winnipeg considers that deal as it fills no needs for the Jets. Left shot defenseman and left shot forwards are the last things Winnipeg would consider if moving Scheifele.

I agree he'll get a lot more than 9 but nobody is giving him 11.5

I know Provorov can play the right side but yeah I mean it’s just not what they’d be looking for. IMO it’s going to be pretty hard to return full value on scheifele if they’re looking to make a hockey trade. What contender/fringe contender is going to want to give up a good RD or too 6 RW. I just don’t see them being able to do well with that. IMO if they are trading scheifele they need to just commit to a mini rebuild.

There is around zero RHD available, if they want an upgrade on DeMelo to play with Morrissey its going to have to be a LHD that can play his offhand.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. To get the best value it would need to be a futures heavy deal, while an actual "hockey trade" would result in less value.

Whichever way the Jets go though, I would imagine they look at players that fill holes as opposed to overstocking already full positions.

With how it looks now that would be true, but you never know how things shake out after the playoffs. There are going to be a few disappointed teams that will want to make changes.

Then you have teams like Vegas and Philly that are always good for a few grand, dumb gestures. So, you never know who will be available in the summer.

Absolutely no interest in Brown or Lindblom with our 2022-2023 roster almost set already except for who gets promoted out of training camp. We have more than enough LWs as it is and Brown is a 30-year-old waiver pickup.

For Scheifele, Konecny must be included or don’t bother
