I wouldn’t give up anything for Kunin and Barbashev and would only want Crouse in a steal (have a feeling I might be disappointed on this one)

Ross Colton would be a great pickup for us

Blues would want a LD who can play a shutdown role for them. It would likely be some sort of package deal but it would centered around Graves or Siegenthaler as part of the return. Assuming Miles Wood is healthy, I would take a flyer on him. If the Devils have interest in taking on Scandella, we could make something work.

I'd gladly accept a bag of pucks for Kunin right now.

The Blues would almost certainly ask for Graves.

Strome- is the 1c in Chicago and is centering their only offensive line with Kane and Cat, my gut says those three stick together in Chicago.

Crouse - if I remember correctly Arizona said they wanted a 1st+ roster player for him at the deadline.

Kunin - I’m guessing his value is about a 3rd but idk if Nashville would even trade him with so much uncertainty around their forwards next year, specifically forsberg.

Barbachev - I see Bluse fans asking for Graves, which makes sense to me.

Colton - seeing that Tampa is still in cap trouble, I doubt they move Colton unless they get a middle 6 player on a lower contract than his 1.125, Remember this is also the team that sent 2 1st round picks for Hagel who is on a 1.5x3 contract, because they are in cap trouble. Might almost be better off waiting to sign him as a UFA when he priced himself out of Tampa after next offseason.

Strome, Kunin, Colton - sounds about what I expected. Last year was the time to buy Strome.
Crouse - seems a bit high
Barbashev - timing may just be off for Graves. Our kids may need another year.

I do not think they’re good at all. I wish I could easily post pictures!

Get him off our roster before game 3, and we'll forego the pucks. An empty bag will suffice.

charts, graphs, and tables.

Hockey is, of course, played on a spreadsheet.

On the real though Barbashev and Kunin have some of the worst RAPM numbers in the league and Crouse is...mid.

Ross Colton tho 👀

But that creates a market.
If you want to buy low, find guys that don't have great stats...but are good players.
If you want to buy high, just find the guys with good stats.

The market inefficiency is finding guys with good underlying stats - or good microstats - without the production and buy low on them

Crouse îs the only one of these 3 who could potentially fit that description.

Barbashev is actually the opposite because he has some on-ice luck this year to the tune of a 13.8 oiSH% and a 23.42 sh%

Puljujarvi, Tolvanen, Colton, Mangiapane (insane on-ice impacts despite the scoring slump to end the year), Bear, Rielly, Carrier, Zadina, Roy
These are all players I think you can take advantage of this market efficiency with.

All buyers and sellers have the same stats. And same micro-stats. Very little profit to be gained from trading on those stats alone.

I mean, that's not really true, right? The Flyers have the same stats the rest of us all have about Ristolainen and they still traded - and extended! - him and he's been as awful as all the "nerds" say he is! The Oilers have a shell of an analytics department.

There's smoke about half these players I just mentioned, regardless.

and regarding trading on these stats alone, well, I'm not. There's quite a lot of stats out there you can use. I subscribe to a lot of the sites! Looking at microstats too, there's just not a lot to like about Kunin and Barbashev.
