Either that or lose him for nothing in FA

I'd like to see a poll of SJS fans of which goalie they expect traded, as I would be cool with the Devils getting either for a 3rd rounder if they can't land Husso or Campbell.

😐 Bro he’s in his 30s and worth very little. That’s like saying we’ll loose Nieto for nothing when we don’t resign him.

I’m fine with that he’s old as hell, didn’t do anything until 10 games left in the season.

No, Bonino has more value than Nieto

I don't see them landing either tbh, but would be intrigued to be proven wrong that's for sure

Nieto is worth a 6th. Bonino is worth a 5th. Not much more, are really negligible

I don't either to be honest. I believe it'll be a trade for Lehner or a SJS goalie as they have less control. While Lehner has a NTC, he might just want to gtfo. The teams that need goalies for sure are CHI, NJD, and ARI. He had his time in CHI, so not sure he returns.

Why??

Because they don’t need anymore bottom 6F. They don’t have enough NHL ice time for the players stuck in the AHL as it is like Maltsev, Kaut, Ranta, Sherwood, maybe Bowers etc.

Especially if the cost is three prospects lol

But none of those three prospects are anything special, dont' see how this isn't good value even if Bonino doesn't fill a position of need for the Avs

As you said " even if Bonino doesnt fill a position of need", then why trade away THREE prospects for a piece that doesnt fill a need lol.
Even if the prospects arent special, look at how many picks COL has traded away in the next 2-3 drafts, do they seem as if they have prospects to spare for a piece they dont need?

Again, if COL hadnt traded away so many picks and prospects of late it would be an issue, but the cupboards are gunna start to look bare soon (hence them signing this Zhuravlyov guy - wholl never make the NHL - but they are running dry on bodys in the farm)

He's ready. He proved it this year. And he's waiver eligible next season, so you just lost him for nothing. Great job. Guy outperforms Carter Hart and you let him get claimed on waivers.

Well, if you think his performance from this season is enough to outweigh having a lackluster training camp next September, and Hart is playing on a weaker team
