The devils by far biggest problem is goaltending so naturally they solve that by trading away their only NHL goalie.
    Archiv3 and Devil liked this.

    I'm thinking they sign Husso

They should have both goalies. They need whatever starters they can get until they are over the hump and trust one fully

Rangers paid a mid-2nd for one year of Marc Staal at a $5.7M cap hit. It won't cost a 2nd for Nick Foligno at $1.9M especially with his leadership/grit/other intangibles. Bruins can also not move him or buy him out. Doubt Minnesota takes cap dump(s) given their cap situation.

They are definitely signing a goalie this offseason. But if they trade Blackwood they would need another, trusting Bernier would be a huge risk because of his injury.

Devils may trade Blackwood, but I think chances are pretty low, especially if a goalie isn’t coming back. Daws and Schmid need another year in AHL.

They can starting July 1st I believe because his NMC would become a NTC. His buyout hit would $1.93 next year and $933k the following season. With that I'd agree it wouldn't cost a 2nd.

Even if dumba gets traded and not resigned, Minnesota isn't trading dumba to take on another long term contract of D. Minnesota declines

    Bruins aren't giving you a 2nd and 50% retention.
