Gryz doesn't fit a need for us. We need RD. Also don't really have a need for DeBrusk but could take him if needed.

If you use the typical format of 1st round pick, player and a prospect I'd be asking for Lysell as the 1st because you don't have one this year, Carlo as the roster player and then I could take DeBrusk as the third piece if you needed to move him to us.

We could move a RD back to you to make it all work.

My counter is Scheif, Vesalainen and Schmidt ($2M retained) for Lysell, Carlo + DeBrusk. It's the best I can do if you want 55.

Buffalo will definitely take that, I don’t know why the Bruins would trade him though considering his even strength D and offense impacts in his 1.25 years in Boston. Grezy is super underrated and won’t get the value back he deserves, JFRESH and All 3 Zones analytics sites both show fantastic metrics for him. Saying that, I think its smart for the Bruins to work around the package of Carlo, high pick, + to fill the 2c that eventually will be 1c in Boston. Carlo holds a lot of value and rightfully so given his age and play style. The bruins would still feel good on D with Grezy and Reilly who are very undervalued by the general Public while filling a big whole at Center.

Grizz's time is up in Boston imo. He's not a playoff player. At least for the Bruins he's not. I think in his playoff career his +/- is like a -18. I know thats not the end all be all stat to look at but its also a pretty telling indicator of what happens come the postseason. Personally I think he's a 3rd pair dman on a true cup contending team. He's somewhat underrated but also I think overvalued locally because he's a Boston boy. He should fetch a mid round pick or two (2nd/3rd and 4th round pick) which I think is pretty fair value for him.

Awful for Winnipeg. Not close to being a realistic offer.
