Description
Just wondering if this looks right from a kings perspective. Seems theres an lot of right d and little light on left d and theres a bit of a need for a left wing to play with kopitar so does this make sense? Mitts could learn a lot from kopitar and can be a top line grinder/playmaker with kaliyev as the shooter and kopitar up the middle. Just a thought. While turcotte seems to be coming along a little slow. The kings arent necessarily a win now team but they have good years left in thier vets that this could help along. Maybe trade another right d like walker for another lefty to even out the sides a bit instead of signing matta if hes not willing to take something cheap

I don't think the value is unfair, but I am very low on turcotte and I think Buffalo wants to see it thru on mittelstadt. Injuries destroyed his season

Turcotte's younger, so potentially more upside there. Mitts got better when he got healthier but he still doesnt really move the needle. He was def more involved, but ultmately that was Asplund driving the line both offensively and defensively in terms of possession.

I think its worth it to get a shot at helge grans. Good offer from OP

Johnson for Grans is enough for Buffalo. At this point Mittelstadt is still a far better player than Turcotte. They might be interested in bringing in Iafallo, but probably for a draft pick unless you are interested in taking on Anders Bjork. At this point Bjork is the extra forward, or they would bury his contract in the AHL.

I think that the general consensus out here is that Grans for Johnson is a great idea, but we certainly don't need another young left-handed forward because we're overloaded with LWs and Cs. @littlejerryseinfeld is right here: just take out mittelstadt and turcotte.

Olofsson and Johnson for Iafallo and Grans?

I would rather keep Olofsson if that’s the case. At best it’s a lateral move for Buffalo, I’m pretty sure Olofsson is a better scorer.

100% a better scorer, but Iafallo is an above average scorer for a stud shutdown winger IMO. Fills a need for both teams, while LA has a ton of 2 way wingers and Buffalo figure to have some scoring coming from Quinn and Peterka
