Carolina drafted Dumo and didn't want him then. Now he's got injury issues and is on the wrong side of 30. No thanks. You can get Bear, but Dumo is of no interest

Sabres pass, I don't think they will play that much for a D. At this point Dahlin, Samuelson, Power, and Joki have established themselves as a very solid top 4 so I think they are looking for cheaper bottom pair guys.

i dont see the value is middlestadt, or the sense in trading marino. top 4 RD with term on a team-friendly deal for a fledgling prospect? even with pick 16 I just cant see it.
