Un attaquant de puissance + un jeune défenseur avec un beau potentiel top 4 + choix de première ronde 2022= OUI!

it's not like guhle is owen power or anything like that, this is the equivalent of zacha + ty smith + 28OA for 2OA, no one would take that

Montreal is not giving up that much for 2nd OVA to draft yet another winger. This is ridiculous, let's stop with these annoying trades for 2nd OVA. It's not happening cause Jersey fans think it's worth a McDavid types of return.

feels like he's not? the point totals are almost identical over their nhl careers, advanced stats look pretty similar with a slight edge to zacha, zacha's younger and is getting paid less than anderson. he might be slightly better but i see no real reason to believe he's significantly better to the point where this is an invalid comp.

The way you make it sound is as if Slafkovsky is Peter Forsberg. He has a top 6 powerforward ceiling so basically he is a young Josh Anderson and you expect us to give up the equivalent of 2 1sts and a 2nd?! Yeah keep dreaming.

Slafkovsky’s ceiling is Josh Anderson?
I must be reading the wrong scouting services.

Letang for 3 years will get 7m, he's not that great, dotn give him 3 years

Slafkovsky won't become much better than Anderson, and we add a 1st and Guhle, a future top 4 dman, it just doesn't make sense for someone the media is obsessed with.

Good value for Weber

Interesting Petry offer, Oshie cancels out with petry, and does armia = Samsonov? I don't think so, habs add a 2nd or something, as teams also view armia as a cap dump

Guess you are, cause he is not going to be a superstar, just an average top 6 power forward like Josh Anderson. He maybe scores 30 goals a couple times over his career but MMW he is not ever going to be a Rocket Richard winner. I am not saying he isn't worthy of 2nd OVA in this draft cause he is but let's not pretend he has the same value as Michkov does next year. Quite simply you can't expect teams to brake the bank for Slafkovsky like they would for Bedard or Michkov.

I'm sorry, but if I'm constructing a team, there's no way I'm sacrificing top 4 defenseman for a top 6 winger.

Je comprends que t'aime Slaf puis je ne te dirais jamais qu'il n'est pas un bon joueur, mais je ne sacrifie pas Guhle pour aller le chercher.

What's the vibe on Walsh? Is he making the team next season or can he be pried away? I like that kid...

Yes, because a 28yr old who has peaked at 47pts, a good prospect for a position the Devils have a number of, and a very late first match a 2nd pick overall...but the Devil fans are the ones being ridiculous...

For a guy who's ceiling is a top 6 power forward who maybe scores an average of 50-70 points a year and a floor of a 3rd line checker who puts up maybe 30-40 points a year. Yes that is a HUGE overpay. It does not matter that Guhle is at a position you don't need his value is still a mid 1st round pick. This equates to 2 1st + 2nd round value for a player who MIGHT end up with slightly more points than Anderson per year. How is that not ridiculous?! His NHLe for 2021-22 is 31 FFS, that is not even 2nd line potential.
