You aren’t getting 12 and another first for Nylander from Columbus. Nylander doesn’t make Columbus a contender, they need to fix the major issues in the own zone first, plus Nylander is only under control for 2 seasons, which means Columbus is ready to complete when Nylander leaves as a UFA.

Again, this team has zero depth and Kerfoot is not a cap dump. I told you to spend more than 5 minutes, which you clearly did not.

Why on earth do you think Abruzzese is ready for a top 6 role? He should be with the Marlies, or in an absolute STELLAR camp, be on the 4th line.

If any injury in the top 6 happens, this team is not even a playoff team.

Comrie should get at least 2 million, which, you actually do have room for...but this team has 0 depth..both at forward and the blue line.

Right value for Holl, probably just the wrong team.

Kerfoot is worth more than that - he's an affordable expiring deal for a solid middle-6 player. you probably can get a 3rd, push for a 2nd, back.

#12 this year and probably something around 15ish next year? I guess it's "fair value" for Nylander but I don't think it makes sense for a team in "win now" mode.

Columbus isn't paying that price. Abracadabra a 2C? No. That bottom 6 is horrible. At least you didn't lowball Campbell like most do.

There's no freaking way William Nylander returns 2 1st round picks, Columbus declines.

At least one Leafs fan has a realistic value on Jack Campbell.

You can’t have a deep team and have three 8 figure players. Bad cap management by our front office forced this

They did this year? & they will again next year. Take your eyes off Jackie Redmond and do some more research than offering the first person you see (Palat) on the FA market 4.85. Actually watch more games and do some research into other teams.

I'm not saying this team is going to win the Cup, I'm far too hurt by them to say such a thing, but there's ways they can run it back with a deep roster.

I want to see you literally look around at the league and teams and come up with a reasonable thing. You can do it, I promise. & if you can do it, then Dubas & his capology team can come up with something even better than you. It's possible. Play around with it and take a look.

Bud I played this game for years. Believe me you aren’t going to play the “you don’t know anything” card. Unless you played AHL or NHL hockey you have less experience with the game than I do. So take your know it all crap and shove it elsewhere

Well, thank GOD you weren't ever a GM lol. Doesn't matter if you played.

Didn't Wayne Gretzky play? How good of a coach was he? lol Doesn't mean crap if you played or not lol

What's your next argument there? Yeah, you played, now you're just a ****ty drunk who doesn't even know what depth is. Good for you. I'm so proud of you.

That's why I think giving up Nylander for futures doesn't help you. You can get a fine player at #12(hello, Noah Dobson!), but not one that's going to make an impact right away - Cole Sillinger is the only guy in the last decade who was picked between 11-13 in the first round and made a major NHL impact immediately.

And you've taken the cap space you saved moving Nylander and got Ondrej Palat(5 years older + less productive than Nylander) & Taylor Motte - a fine player, but a bottom 6 grinder.

I don't think this team is better than the one that just got bounced.

I don’t think any team will be better than the team we just had. One of the big three salaries has to be moved and that isn’t going to happen
