If NJ was targeting Fiala you can bet pretty much anything Wild would be interested more in that 2nd overall than the package you've offered here.

There's no need for MTL to get into this deal.

Not enough to MN based on what MTL is getting. and NJ isn't giving 2nd for Fiala. He's good but not that good

So you send us a player we put on waivers and sign him to almost $2M AAV? That doesn't make any sense. If the Devils are open to moving the 2nd for Fiala, I think we take that all day and finally draft the 1C we've never had.

put on waivers cuz u were stacked but rn u tight on cap (buyout) and 1.75 can be 1.5 but idk if pitlick would want less than that as he had a nice rookie season, not calder candidate season but a nice one nonetheless. but then again, habs prob wont do it.

I mean, 1.5, 1.75, 1, doesn't matter, we can't afford him. He'd be an expensive 4th liner for us if he's anything more than $850k (which he will be).

Slafkovsky would fit Jersey's upcoming window better than Fiala and could very possibly peak higher. Not a chance I'd do this if I'm them.

Guerin and dean e wouldn't want Pitlick back, the guy they put on waivers. With all due respect, Minnesota has no place for a prospect like Norlinder considering Minnesota is stacked at that position for the forseeable future with long term contracts, and top prospects

Pitlick didn't want to play on bottom line role. He also openly spoke out in media about not seeing himself as a two way player which is something that the coaching staff and gm requires of wild players.. So you aren't really right about what you said. Guerin and coaching staff has built a culture here and as a player if you Can't buy in, your gone

Keep Pitlick, sign him 3 years under 2M, put him on a line with Suzuki and Caufield, he'll score 20 goals by trade deadline, then trade him for 2 first like Chicago did with Hagel.
