Detroit... HARD PASS.. Bertuzzi and move up 15 spots in a draft for your salary dump.. get real.

Calgary.. Hard Pass.. Tavares is on the back end and has a huge contract.. This deal gives you a second round pick and two younger, cheaper players... Oh and put Calgary over the cap unless they start offloading bodies.

This is just pure nonsense

Primary questions here:
Why would Giroux accept that?
Why would liljegren, or sandin accept that?
Why would Detroit ever consider that?
Why would the flames ever consider that?
Why would tavares consider that?
Why would jersey ever consider that?

The national hockey league does not exist to benefit the leafs.

Liljegren and Sandid are strong candidates for offer sheets, Zero chance either are signing that cheaply.

Claude Giroux gets more money and term, So does Jack Campbell.

That doesn't even get Tyler Bertuzzi at full value, Let alone Detroit adding Smith and a 2nd round pick to the deal.

Calgary passes big time.

And i doubt NJ has any use for Jake Muzzin.

What is the piece that gets you Bertuzzi and 2nd round. You expect o move back 15 spots and get a very good player for tow players Wings do no need. Kerfoot is a good player but Wings need a #2 center and that is not Kerfoot. Best suited for 3rd line center. Holl is another go ol d player, but Wings have to Better RHD and no need to trad eassets for a 3rd line player

There should be a computer block on CF when any Leaf fan tries to trade NTC Muzzin and Tavares. Just because a fan doesn't like their cap (neither does Dubas), gives the Leafs a free pass to a trade or LTIR
