You can have Kakko for 2nd round compensation on offer sheet. Rangers can't / won't match 4,2 offer. Why trade for him ?

Kaliyev isn't leaving LA. Love Lindgren, but he and Kakko aren't worth that much.

Any counter offer in mind? Love Kaliyev but I understand why LA wouldn't move him.

He's not getting offer-sheeted. We'd match it obviously.

Then good luck with 15 players and 7 mil in cap space. The offers sheet is all about Rangers cannot match it. Make this offer two years - they could loose Laf or Miller as well.

They can obviously afford him 😂 but pretend your delusions are right and we would trade other pieces to keep him at 4.2M

Honestly, I think Turcotte for Kakko would be a good 1-for-1 trade.

Not happening. Teams have better things to do than to offer sheet ?'s.

I'd like to see Turcotte in the NHL before doing that. Kind of why I added Kaliyev and thought Lindgren would be a nice fit for the Kings LHD.

Yes NYR would probably match but it would be very painful and make them force them to shed cap to make space before Lafreniere gets an offer sheet.

I wouldn't take Nemeth. He's overpaid.

And why is that ? Being kind one to another ?
You can have 21 yrs old 2OA for 2nd round pick. He struggles, but is young and could change to course in new environment.
This is something worth exploring.

Who ? Trouba ? He is expensive and have NMC. Finding sutor won't be easy.

I could live with Turcotte 1 for 1 or Kings can add a little. As long as Chychrun or another LD of that caliber is acquired first.

Just out of curiosity, what is the price of Lindgren alone? Kakko and this proposal aside.

Hahaha yes, Trouba, only Trouba, quit trolling man.

Nemeth 2.5M
Chytil 2.3M
Reaves 1.75M

Not to mention we won’t have Strome, Georgiev on the books. Who knows where Motte, Copp, Vatrano end up. Also, OS just don’t happen. CAR did it because of MTL. When was the last time another one happened?? I’m sure you don’t care to actually consider the facts and options and just looking for reactions to your trolling but if TB can get out of being way over the cap and not get OS on their players then there’s 0 concerns for others…

Honestly, having Trouba and Lindgren is vital for a playoff ranger team. I wouldn't trade them.

Offer sheet must be accepted by player first. Looking at Kakko - could use change of scenery, saying that Rangers won't offer him anything close, and is not arbitration eligible.

Nemeth deal is backloaded. It will be tough to trade him, being owned 3,5 mil in real money.
Chytil most likely won't get you 1st in return, if so it would be late. And you will have to replace him.
Reaves could be moved, but this is small cap hit.

And you would have to replace Georgiv, Strome, Chytil, Copp, Motte, Vatrano with very little cap space left, and having in mind looming extensions for Miller and Laf, both due to significant raise.

You cannot match 4,2mil for Kakko, keep Trouba and have Miller and Laf expiring ELC's. Something have to be given up. Currently half of the above roster is on ELC

Moving Nemeth isn’t an issue. Let’s assume in the worst case it’s a 3rd(the real money part isn’t nearly as important as you think to billionaires). Reaves would get us a 4th-3rd and we are basically even while finding the money to match. Oh and Goodrow has more value than you think and there 3.6M. Lindgren had lots of value and we can slot Jones in that spot. Again, TB has Serg, Cirelli, Cernak all to sign while being over the cap.. no OS… even after multiple cups… the OS isn’t happening

How much money are you spending to replace open spots after Reaves and Nemeth are shipped out? You still need a 2C my guy

I'd ask for Kaliyev or Turcotte. Obviously NYR would add but I don't see why we'd trade Lindgren otherwise. He's a staple in our top 4.

League min. Jones can replace Lindgren if needed. A 2C can be acquired from DAL when they are out of playoffs at the TDL. Pavelski at 5M(1.7M at TDL) retained even if needed. Strome isn’t a good 2C so really we will just continue to do the same things as this season. Renting those final pieces isn’t an issue. Again, this is all moot. OS don’t happen

Dallas isn't going to breakup one of the Leagues best lines while they are still trying to contend, you're assuming won't be a playoff/wild card team. Jones can't replace Lindgren who plays 20+ minutes on the top pair, come on dude. Are you trying to weaken your team in every aspect just to keep Kakko?
