Description
Not sure on the value in the Vegas deal...love Brisson, not sure if they'd be willing to move him for TK but I'd imagine they want to go back to contending. Get even money swap with Dadonov & Konecny in year 1.

Depends on how LAK wants to roll into the next year. Price-point seems reasonable, could upgrade/downgrade pick if necessary

Like Lindstrom and I think Sanheim is a good fit in DET. They have Edvidsson, Johansson, and Buium in the system but Sanheim took some big strides this year. Flyers re-coup an earlier pick.

Seen this EDM trade a bunch on the site. Flyers buyout Kassian and keep the picks.

I've gotten some heat for asking for 1st + Turcotte or even both 2022 2nds + Lindstrom for Sanheim. I'd be content with some of these trades if they can use the money for the players. I'd obviously take more

Konecny I like but I think he's tapped in terms of potential. Higher upside in Brisson imo and more dynamic, which is what Philadelphia desperately needs

I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM. I might add a little, too.

Even with your retention I don't think Vegas can afford Konecny. They need Brisson and his ELC for the next couple years.
I think you have something with the LA trade, might be able to get a bit more like a fourth or something but that's minor details.
With the Detroit trade in conflicted. We need Lindstrom as we have no one to replace him and he's also a really good shut down defenceman which we also need. I think you are right on with value in this trade. I don't know if they make it just because they have 6 really good LD prospects in the pipeline plus guys like McIsaac and Juolevi who could turn into something. Also now have Walman who has looked pretty decent so far in his short time with the wings. I think Detroit finds a veteran with 1-3 years to fill the hole on the left side. Schmidt, Martinez and Pettersson are options for fairly cheap. It's nothing against Sanheim either cause I think he's a good player.
Edmonton trade is fine I think.

I forgot to add that your defence is really really bad now if you trade both of those guys. Probably not great for those young guys development.

Yeah VGK would need to make the cap work somewhere else for this deal to go through. I think it's pretty equal value since Vegas has the window and Philadelphia is still a ways away.

I think Sanheim is closer to becoming more of a "gamebreaker" or a higher quality piece in that top-four than McIssac or Juolevi or Walman have to becoming closer to Sanheim. Lindstrom is hard to move but Seider can have that locked down for now. Can also see how far Nemec/Jiricek fall

6th worst defense on goals allowed this past year. If you can utilize Zadorov/Risto in the offensive zone for about 60% of the time you can be fine. Lindstrom can shut down on the right side and Zamula has high hopes. Maybe it would flow better if Zad/Risto is top-pair verus York/Ellis

Yeah I'm really on board with grabbing one of those two but if that happened I would look at moving Hronek over Lindstrom. He is a perfect third pairing shut down guy and I think those guys are super under rated and very important on any good team.

Philly loses pretty much every deal… some by a lot…

People will pay a first born for Chychurn, Provorov has almost identical stats… the two are pretty much the same value but one gets paid 2M more… imagine retaining 2m on Ivan and seeing if that’s a fair value for Chych

The best player in the deal in always the one people are paying for.

Honestly, in the first 3 trades I think a first is missing from each.

I like Sanheim but we have so much in the pipeline for the left side and not much for the right side, I haven't watched enough Sanheim to know if he would be really worth it.

Sanheim is good. I'd definitely give up Lindstrom and a 2nd for him. But there's no need to go higher with Edvinsson, Johansson and Wallinder coming up. Flyers could likely get more from a different team.

The way I see it is we have 6 good LD prospects plus Walman, McIsaac and Juolevi in the mix. Juolevi hasn't done much but I would give him a chance personally. But no one to play the right side, we would have to get Petry...... Lol

Yeah I wouldn't want to trade our next 3 firsts but he's worth it since he played good for 20 games.

Not a terrible trade for either with VGK but we DESPERATELY need some contributors on ELCs

I like the trade. Feel both teams benefit with their respective windows. Really need to have some cap magic for Vegas for this deal to really go through
