Chicago and Vancouver pass, Not enough quality in either trade.

It was already reported at the trade deadline, That Semyon Varlamov wouldn't waive for either Edmonton or the Capitals. So that trade isn't happening.

And Detroit has no use for Josh Bailey especially for a 3rd round pick.

I think that's a good return for Miller as a UFA after one year. Canucks need picks, and Beauvillier is decent. They could also trade up in the draft more easily with NY's pick and have a high and mid first rounder.

The Canucks probably decline , but so should the islanders. The isles are not close to being contenders and you’re trading for two 30 year olds who are going to decline. This team is way too old and slow to compete and you gave up multiple 1sts to do it

canucks only decline because they severely overrate miller. I'll laugh when he leaves in UFA because he said he wasn't taking a discount for van and they get absolutely nothing back

He’s essentially a powerplay specialist who benefits from playing with Hughes and Pettersson. He’s an average top 6 winger at 5v5. I am very confident Miller won’t even hit 70 points next season.

exactly scoring was up massively this year and a lot of players are getting overrated because of it. I'd spend that 13OA pick and beauvillier else where you could honestly get a better player then miller. if you are gonna take a risk at a 30 yr old who just had a career year just go sign kadri in FA and save your assets

I’d prefer not to sign Kadri either lol he’s going to be a mid 6 center making 7 mill. The only forward I would spend 13 overall on is Fiala
