MTL won't take Mrazek for a 5th. I think it would cost at least a 2nd to move his contract.

none of the bigger deals make a lot of sense for the Canes or the recipients.

NJ deal doesnt make sense for the Canes as Miles is a 4LW. Why trade Gunler for a 4LW? you can get a 4LW for cheap in UFA.
Need quality for DeBrincat and a lot of it.
Nylander doesnt solve any of our issues and is gone in 2 years. Dont trade Necas for that.
Martinook isnt getting traded. Rod specifically called DW to get him re-signed. You dont trade a guy the coach calls the GM to keep.
