That Habs deal hurts us more than it benefits us. And you have us shopping out Zucker and then basically taking on a very similar contract for Josh Anderson? No. We do not need that. Also, Seattle probably declines that deal. Same for Arizona. We have to pay those 2 teams for those contracts, they aren’t gonna be paying us to dump out cap. The Detroit one probably is accepted though.

So the article talks about the trade deadline. Which most likely leads to Montreal being OUT on POJ.

Reasoning: Montreal was shopping around Lehkonen. Pitsburg was always a team that had interest in Lehky. I assume they tried to get POJ + a 2nd. Pits wasn't willing to make the trade so they settled with Colorado. Barron + a 2nd. This makes it far more unlikely for the montreal canadians to move someone for another young defenseman. They've stacked the cupboards during the last few drafts and went out to get Barron. They've got a bottle neck with Guhle, Harris, Norlinder and company still in the pipeline. Resigned Wideman. Then they have too many big contracts on the back end.

Habs certainly not interested in POJ, check our LD depth. Not needed, at all.
Anderson>>>>>> Kapanen
And habs are the ones giving a 2nd? Comical.

Habs not interested in this deal whatsoever

Alright, then if you’re basing this AGM on this article than maybe build your trade off it too. Petry for 21 overall and POJ, the trade you have here is terrible for the Habs.
