This is terrible deal for Ottawa.

Abruzzese and a 2024 2nd is an unremarkable return for Connor Brown alone. On top of that Ottawa takes Jake Muzzin, who is quickly approaching the end of his time as a useful NHLer, as well as retaining 3mi+ on Murray and taking on a goalie who was drastically worse this season.

in what world does sandin and liljegren get that little? also liljegren based on stats should demand a higher salary

Remove Brown and Muzzin and that makes more sense

Understatement, this is absolutely DREADFUL

1) Murray with 3.1 retention is much more valuable than Mrazek (even if injured 50% of the time). 3.15 AAV for Murray vs 3.8 AAV for Mrazek, 2 years left for each

Let's say the Sens (stupidly) accept only a 2nd round pick for that... it leaves :

Connor Brown for Muzzin and Abruzzese

Judging on all these ACGMs, Muzzin doesn't seem to have any value left, with a year left at 5.625 too
