To a team that doesn't really need high draft picks but someone to stabilize the D core. He would be great for Sanderson

As much as I love Murphy I would not give up on Heinola this kid looks like he is gonna the future for WPG

Not to mention Lassi Thomson, 19th OA pick in 2019, a guy that I almost considered a bust in 2020 but who totally proved why he was a 1st round pick in North America.

And that NYR trade is also putrid. No way the Rangers do that

I could see a world where the rangers possibly trade Kakko if they get a really good offer. It’s seems like things are starting to sour between the two sides. Rangers aren’t too happy with his development and where he’s at right now and Kakko probably wants more of an opportunity with better ice time.

Was Lassi Thompson good this year? I kinda lumped him with Heinola, good in the A but can't get going in the NHL.

He has shown very good signs, received a lot of praise from all coaching staff

A) Pionk isn't going to stabilize that defense.
B) He's still not worth the 7th overall pick.
