You just made the right side even worse.

Filip Hronek is nearly a 0.05 PPG player over an 82 game schedule he's worth far more than a 3rd and 5th round pick.

And Ryan Strome will get closer to $6,000,000 x 6 years than what you offered him.

FWIW Yzerman only moves Hronek if he either signs John Klingberg or trades after Jeff Petry which is extremely doubtful.

The Yzerplan is to sell really low on a top 4 RHD?

Welcome to CapFriendly! Don't take the comments personally because some fans can get very enthusiastic.

Detroit currently has no RHD to replace Hronek and the 22 minutes a game he plays so at this point he is needed a lot more than a couple of draft picks.

Devils don’t really need Hronek, but I guess at that price, it may be worth it to take as Subban replacement on 3rd pairing until Mukhamadulkin, Walsh, Hughes enter the picture. Can always flip him later.

If I were Detroit and were offering him to NJ, I’d ask for one of Devils big physical LD’s (Bahl, Okhotiuk) and a 2nd rounder.

Better off keeping him. Even if he ends up on left side.

First off, if you have watched any Wings games this season you will see how poorly Hronek is at defensemen. He actually makes Tyson Barrie look like a capable defender. To add, every time Hronek breaks the puck out he always rims the puck around the boards instead of making a smarter, more efficient play. Articles have also shown that Hronek was not happy with his reduced ice time and role heading into the 2021.22 season.

Filip Hronek (and for that matter any other 24 year old RD under team control for 3 years at an affordable 4.4 million contract, putting up half a point a game) is worth a least a 1st and a 2nd or a 1st and a A prospect. Only 21 RD's in the league scored more and one those was Seider.
