Only the Oilers trade has an actually positive impact on Buffalo.

Canes pass. A 2nd for Olofsson straight up is way too much. Maybe a 4th and Bear, but Olofsson doesn't do anything for Carolina. If you want Bear, just give up the 3rd rounder.

I think the Anaheim trade may as well, Stolarz put up decent numbers and would be a solid backup goalie.

The Hawks pass on that. The first is a good starting point, but Johnson likely doesn't do much for the Hawks. They have a bunch of defensive prospects similar to him, they need forwards, so to trade a young NHL forward who already made the jump but hasn't reached his potential yet from the hawks, your gonna have to include another pick or a high forward prospect.

You are about to be extremely dissapointed with the return they are going to get for him... No one giving up a top 10 pick I am afraid, plus all the rumours about how much Dach loves the mary jane doesnt help.

What? You mean the story Dach told about his pre draft interview with Yzerman?

There are no stories about that. I think you just imagined it. And honestly, even if he did, that wouldn't effect my opinion of him.

Likely most player do it anyways for pain management. I think if chicago trades him now it would be at his lowest possible value, he may be due for a breakout year I am hoping, or he can join cozens and krebs in buff Id be cool with that

Yeah. I'm thinking the same thing. He is definitely due for it. I think with the "win now" pressure off, he can settle into a larger role and will steadily improve.
