why is arizona of all teams paying to acquire webers contract? even if that trick for cap would work (I dont think it would with him at all) why would they want him? There gonna try to make the cap floor and tank for bedard. Thats just stupid.

CHI declines. That MAYBE gets a conversation going for just Kirby but not Colton too. But even then I think CHI would still be reluctant. Farrell is promising, but he is very small. Harris is very promising, but we have a log jam of comparable LHD as it is. And Calgary's 1st round pick is 26th overall in a fairly weak draft. Also, would you really take Slafkovsky at 1st overall? I mean... even if MTL is set at Center, Wright is a lock at 1st overall.

Isles easily decline.

Pageau is better than Dvorak and is our best defensive center.

Beau is more reliable than Anderson whose contract will be an issue.

Varly is way better than Montembeault.
