Tried to make reasonable trades here, not just move out bad money for good players.

Seems like decent value for Dach. Just don’t think Chicago does that though. He is only 21 and am not sure how he projects just yet. Based the rebuild, betting we hang onto him

I think Zucker for Drouin is fair but I think there was an issue with Zucker's NTC keeping him out of Canada because of a custody issue with his ex. I could be wrong/have misread the situation but I remember some rogue Wild fans bringing it up around TDL.

Don’t really understand why Anaheim would consider this

Dvorak for leadership and his defensive and faceoff capabilities, Poehling for youth with potential upside. I guess if you don't want/need them then it could be any other team looking for youth at center. Just thought of the Ducks cause they were going through a rebuild.

Those assets could be used for someone like Fiala who I think would be a much better add for the Ducks currently and for the future

That's fair, TBH only selected the Ducks cause they are in rebuild mode and could use a veteran center.

That is every reason the Ducks dont consider this offer

Poehling wouldnt be impactful with how good our prospect pool is already, and Dvorak is probably negative value to ANA, we have Lundestrom for a lot cheaper, and Henrique is better than him currently

Not bad value for Dach, but I think the hawks decline because it's the same case as Hagel. No trade unless they're really "wow"ed by the offer.

As I said above, that's fair, I get it but to play Devils advocate Lundestrom is not a vet and therefor does not provide the veteran leadership. Henrique is also 6 years older and could be used to return a better package for the rebuild if you were to trade for Dvorak. However, since the fit isn't there I guess it's a moot point. Thanks for the discussion though.

It’s really just a matter of if management thinks zucker will be healthy. I would rather have a healthy zucker than drouin

I wouldn't rather have one over the other, they are both good players (when healthy) just with very different skill sets. However if both were healthy, I think a GM would go for the younger asset, not trying to take anything away from Zucker at all cause I like his game too.
