Gibson has had 3 average at best years in a row....and a heavy contract....there are cheaper options to be a .904 goalie. For any of the "Ducks are bad", the Devils were just as bad.

Gaudreau at $10 million.
That would take a lot of things off the table for us for a long time.

I think we are better off sticking to our needs and not overpaying our wants.
