Colorado keeps Kadri at 6 mil.

And you are 4.389 mil over the cap.

We made it to mid-morning before the first Muzzin trade of the day.

Legit question, do you think the Kings would not be able to beat your offer on Chychrun? Also, do you think Muzzin thinks his best chance at winning a cup in the next two years is in LA over Toronto, because he has to waive his rights to come to LA?

Habs win that trade by a mile.

As a Habs fan I still wouldn't want it though

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Using LTIR on purpose is a bad idea, and still doesn't solve the problems your trades have created. Not to mention your trades are not great. You also bought out Simmonds when he could be buried in the AHL for nothing.

If Toronto retains half of Muzzin's contract, and for some reason Muzzin decides to waive his NTC, I'd consider sending Sean Walker back. Under no circumstances would I send Matt Roy.

I believe, and I could be wrong, this ACGM is using LTIR to raise the cap by Little's ~5.3 mil. The general feeling is Montreal is not over the cap by ~4.3 mil because of Little's ~5.3 on LTIR. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Absolutely amazing that you could go on a site that explains ltir, calculates the cap for you and still not understand ltir.

They don't unlees it's in a 3 way deal and they can offload him right away ... Nylander is a UFA in 2 years and has a M-NTC last year of the contract. Habs need to shed salary and lots of it not add ...

Nylander is a lot better then Anderson. They could easily turn around and flip him for a top 10 pick. Anderson has more term but doesn't come close to being the same tier of player.
