Trades
1.
NJD
  1. DeBrincat, Alex
  2. 2023 4th round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
The Devils make a blockbuster trade and acquire Alex Debrincat. The Devils are interested in him and this would make the team so much better.
CHI
  1. Bahl, Kevin
  2. Holtz, Alexander
  3. 2022 1st round pick (NJD)
  4. 2024 2nd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
The Blackhawks are in a full rebuild and I think this is a good return for them to progress the rebuild.
2.
NJD
  1. 2023 4th round pick (OTT)
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
The Devils want an upgrade at goalie and have a young goal with the potential to be the future in Nico Daws, so moving Blackwood makes sense, and they get some decent picks for him.
OTT
  1. Blackwood, Mackenzie
Additional Details:
The Sens don't really have a goalie of the future or an A1 starter so they take a chance on Blackwood for pretty cheap.

Could be debatable that the 4th and 2nd are dropped to get it across the line although I do feel 2OA and Holtz is a good return.

I feel like you might be unaware of the Sens goalie situation. Forsberg more than proved he's a starter last year, and he should be the #1 guy next year. We also have a ton of goalie prospects, so I don't really see why they would need Blackwood, as much potential as he has.

"The Sens don't really have a goalie of the future"

Anton Forsberg (29 years old, which is still young for a goalie)
Filip Gustavsson (24 years old)
Mads Sogaard (24 years old) --> THE goalie of the future
Leevi Meriläinen (19 years old)
Kevin Mandolese (21 years old)

Not counting 28 years old Matt Murray as he is way too injury prone

No need/no interest in Blackwood, at any price

Sens need a top-6 RW and a top-4 RHD

Yeah Forsberg was impressive. He was a top-10 goalie last season. He was 11th in GSAA

Blackwood was 62nd
