Ur not getting Beauvillier or 13 for Anderson. You couldn’t get beau for Anderson and the Calgary pick so just do us all a favor and stop posting unfair deals.

Detroit is not trading a young top 4 D for a shot at a pick in the 20s or worse. Getting a top 4 D with a pick in the 20s is what you hope for if you don't get super lucky and get a diamond in the rough.

Slafkovsky is a C now?
If you want to slap him down the middle, just draft the actual center.

Actually, they were talking about this on NHL radio a week or so ago. I guess he can play center, but he played mostly wing because of roster flexibility/chemistry and he plays a more complementary style of play sort of like Panarin.

Even he said "I was reading something that Suzuki and Caufield need a left wing. I am sitting here if they want".
Habs haven't had actual centers down the middle in ages. They keep getting these wingers to play down the middle and it always fails (think Galchenyuk and Drouin most recently)
