Chevy is looking for a deal that he can't ignore for him to consider moving Dubois. This is extremely easy to ignore.

Dubois doesn’t want to sign long terms anywhere …
So it’s either WPG trade him this offseason or the next one

Exactly. So a lowball offer isn't any enticement to trade him now. Might as well just wait for next year or the TDL next year.

8M on a long terms deal
6M is fine (his QO)
If he signs 2 years he will be UFA in 2024
