I think the Jets will do what they did with Trouba when he was two years out from UFA. One year deal, Dubois plays this year in Winnipeg and then is traded after the 2022-23 season but before QOs are due.

They got Pionk ( now their 2RD) and #20 overall for trading 1yr of team control for Trouba. They are probably comfortable with that floor and their pro scouts' judgement.

Allen will be decent, Monty can surprise people, eddy is excelent defensively and I think guhle will be solid. Defintly not playoffs, but not Bedard terrioty either. If im wrong than great, a shot at a franchise center
