Detroit declines. Yzerman just signed Chiarot, Maatta and Pysyk. Plus Edvinsson has a good chance of making the team. Don't need Myers.

After we re-sign Gabe Vilardi, technically we'll have 15 forwards on the roster plus some prospects promotable from Ontario, so Pearson doesn't fit for that reason.

After we re-sign Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi, we'll have less than half a million dollars in cap space, so Pearson doesn't fit for that reason.

Fiala, Kaliyev, Kempe and Moore are all left-handed forwards far more deserving of ice time, so Pearson doesn't fit for that reason.
