They’ve accomplished more in 12 years of Jets 2.0 than the Leafs have in the same time.
I’m ok watching a rebuild. It happens sometimes. Toronto is probably not that far off from at least a retool either...

All I stated was that Helly was better than either Murray or Samsonov. Plenty of leafs fans posted trade proposals the last few weeks for Helly (prior to the Murray/Sam acquisitions) and the values were somewhat similar.
You are the one who chimed in and started talking smack!

No it's really not. Plus by not doing anything in FA we aren't showing any signs of trying to win now. No point in taking on another contract when we can be out of JVR's next year, with this year a waste anyway. We certainly aren't adding 2 firsts to it, we weren't gonna do one first last week as it is.

Two firsts from a team expected to go to the final four maybe. Phillys 2023 first is worth Scheifele plus right now considering they are the only team in their division who didn’t improve and probably finish with a high lotto pick.

Truthfully, the current market absolutely blows for sellers, I think he lands a mid first and 3rd or low B prospect
