HAHAHAHA, the Coyotes are not excepting that after I'm guessing saying no to dozens of offers for a lot better over the last year. A rebuilding team takes one look at that deal and sees a 1st and MAYBE a couple mid-draft picks. That is nowhere near Chychrun.

CBJ shouldn't even think about offering that, for almost anyone in the NHL. Moving out Nyquist is one thing. Giving away our best two-way forward AND our 1st-round pick in a loaded draft? That's outright lunacy.

It would give them:
1. a first from CBJ
2. a first from whoever they flip Nyquist to
3. either a boatload of stuff if they move Bjorkstrand OR a perfect linemate for Bedard + Keller, lol

You're overvaluing Nyquist and Bjorkstrand heavily. Neither is getting you a first. Like I said, It's a first and a couple mid-draft picks at most. Chychrun is a defenseman who could potentially win the Norris one day or at least be in the running for it consistently, he is on an insanely good contract for the next couple years, and he is young still. Anybody who wants him is offering up a first, a high-level prospect, and a roster player.

If CBJ wants him, it's likely a first, one of Nyquist/Bjorkstrand, and Marchenko/Mateychuk. Maybe even throwing in a 2nd or Texier too. Chychrun is highly vauable and is going to be a #1 defenseman for most teams. He may even have an edge over Werenski, since Chychrun is as good as Werenski, if not better, at offense and much better at D than Werenski.

If you think Bjorkstrand isn't worth a first round pick I don't know what to tell you, man.

Bjorkstrand is worth so much more than you think. 2 first at minimum alone. Super sniper and team friendly contract. If you don't think he's worth that, I want what you're smoking. However, I'd never want Chychrun on the cbj. He's badly overvalued right now due to the market and a trade like that would backfire. It's not like Jarmo to do. Chychrun is truly worth a 1st, top prospect and fringe prospect, at more.
