CGY declines that. Also Tkachuk declines 7.7. Looking min 9-9.5

I don't see it. Tkachuk is going to be looking for $9 million a year or more. Dallas doesn't have the cap space unless they'd be willing to include Robertson in the deal. Which would be a bad idea

I do agree 7.7 wouldn't work. But Nill can find 300k easily with negotiations. Just need a million more to have space for Tkachuk.

However, I 100% believe that trade goes through. Might not be crazy, but Damiani is a great prospect in my eyes. Plus the other pieces line up. I'd add a 2-3 later 3rd round as well at most. Calgary doesn't have enough leverage for more

don't think dallas would consider robertson and for good reason but at least one if not two of stankoven/johnston/bourque needs to be in the package imo

they have the leverage of multiple teams wanting him. i can see st louis fans being like "he only wants to come here you have no leverage" but that's not the case for dallas

This is Matt Tkachuk, not Connor McDavid.

If Robertson is included, both Stankoven and Johnston will absolutely not be, and I doubt the first would too.

Should've gone after Bjorkstrand -- would've been perfect for DAL

Don’t know why they didn’t lol, as a matter of fact idk why any other team didn’t pay more.

You sir have totally lost the plot I fear.

If this is your expectation of Tkachuk's value you're going to end up extremely disappointed the day he gets moved.

Right now I wouldn't move Robo for Tkachuk 1-on-1, because CGY's leverage over Tkachuk doesn't warrant an elite return.

He’d take home more in Dallas at 9 million than Canada at 10 million
