Lol, if he did he would have been traded long ago. He's horrible and makes 6m.

Myers isn't horrible, you're just clueless. The conversation around Myers isn't a matter of clearing his salary, he's coming off a good season

He is moveable at 50% retained. 3m bottom pair defenders have no value in a cap works.

Not really my trade. I wouldn't touch this even as is.

Myers isn't a 3rd pair defender. You haven't watched the player closely enough

I honestly don't think the hawks would take kerfoot and a 3rd. Only because he would help the team next season. Davidson has shown they're gonna lose next year at all costs. Taking Kerfoot hurts that plan.

Greatest and most honest thing I have heard all day. Please don't let Bedard go to the desert. Would love to see him in a big original 6 market like Chicago.

Myers is worth at least a 2nd at 50% retained. Boeser and Miller's value combined is worth more than Nylander + Liljigren + Kampf

Boeser and rental miller is, in my opinion, very close in value to Nylander and Liljegren. Added Kampf for cap reasons. Miller is not worth as much as a lot of canucks fans think, with just 1 year left ( and leafs will not be able to re sign him ).

Yeah its a good point but there has to be some place where we go "Ok lets take him and move him at the TDL". Although we need to be wary of only having the 3 retention slots

He's still worth more than what you propose. Boeser also has more value than Liljigren currently

I watched as many Vancouver games as you did this season (more if you didn't watch them all) he is horrible on the eyes and his advanced metrics have him even lower.

Like I said, not my age if you like him keep him.

I was more thinking that Nylander> Boeser by quite a bit, and to even it out trade miller + myers retained for Liljegren. Think its good for both teams, maybe i got the pick wrong but I think it has the bones to be a solid deal for both sides. Don't think its as far off as some people are positing here on this thread.

Miller is far more valuable than Liljigren. Your valuation is way off. Myers is also a very valuable asset at 50% retained, heck, he's still a positive asset with no salary retained. Nylander IS more valuable than Boeser, I'll give you that

I am okay with all that you said except that myers is a positive asset at 6 Million. That isn't what the insiders have been saying, everytime they mention myers its revolving around salary retention or sweetener. No team in their right mind takes myers at 6 Mill I promise you

He isn't a 3rd pair defender on the worst defence in the league. Anywhere else besides maybe Arizona he is a 3rd pair.

No it's not, they've legitimately been saying that Myers has positive value at full salary, no joke

Canucks defense is nowhere near worst in the league. You're delusional

Hawks adding Kerfoot for a 3rd is a great value because they can re-sell him at the TDL retained for a 3rd maybe a 2nd. Yeah he is gonna help the Hawks but not by much their roster is terrible. They have the worst goaltending in the league Id be surprised if they won any games even if McDavid was on the team. They are gonna sell Domi, Athanasiou and hopefully Kane to recoup as many assets as they can, they should add Kerfoot onto that. Then they can go on a massive losing streak after the TDL to solidify their draft odds.

If Canucks had anything close to defence they would have been in the playoffs. Great group of forwards, consistent vezina caliber goaltending.

No, their blueline isn't the reason they missed the playoffs

hes right man lmao. Its true our scoring was way below par last year (mostly petey/boes at the beginning), but if our D could transition the puck (bottom 5 team at transitioning puck out of own zone) we would be a very good team. Our D needs talent desperately.

The team currently constructed as is could still make the playoffs. There might be some transitioning difficulties still from the back end, but it won't sink the team considering how deep the forward group is

It 100% is. Both in defending and puck moving. Most especially the pk. Bit that's not all on the 6 guys on the blueline. It's a team wide thing.

Not even remotely accurate. The PK got better when Boudreau came in and Brad Shaw took over the PK. Can't just look at the first 25 games, cause that was never the real thing
