Apperently contract talks with Ottinger are not going well

Both sides are far apart in what they are asking

Ottinger and his reps feel he deserves a big long term deal

Dallas management still is unsure and wants to give him a 2 year show me like Hart

Gonna be interesting to see what happens

i like otter a lot but goalies are a crapshoot. since he doesn't have arb rights and no one seems to have room for an offersheet or have the balls for one i'm expecting a 1 or 2 year deal.

Honestly choosing Vesey over bringing back Motte is gonna come back to bite them

But then again knowing how the rangers are and knowing Panarin hes gonna want Vesey playing on his RW over Kakko so probs will see the old NYR vesey return but through artificial means

Well there is one team who could throw out an OS. That said his reps do have a solid argument for him getting more as man in the playoffs he kept Dallas in it even when they were getting heavily outplayed

But yeah probs will see a 1 year deal to get him into an arb situation

i dont think they'll regret a long term contract but dallas doesn't have a ton of room for both otter and robertson and right now dallas has a ton of leverage over otter.

Perron was a good deal. But Chiarot and Maata are pretty meh. Not a big fan of Hronek. They have depth rn tho

i think chiarot gets too much hate. i think there are better dmen out there for the money but he's a pain to play against. copp, perron and kubalik were very good adds. not a fan of maatta. not sure what to make of husso but it's not a bad risk especially given the market.

no good way to do the d pairs. ideally you wouldnt want two young guys together like edvinsson-seider. then you dont want chiarot-seider either since you'd probably want to split the big guys up.

As an average Joe who has never played anything beyond dominating basic head-to-head points fantasy hockey leagues, I'm interested in getting into a keeper or dynasty league this season. I was wondering if anyone could give me the general rundown of what a dynasty league would be like plus the best places to sign up. This may not be the right place to ask this, but since the "General Fantasy Talk" forums are drier than Arizona, I figured I'd ask here.

Once the buyout happens I could see that but is it alright for him to take away a spot from Aho or Salo as to me both guys have earned a spot in rotation

Aho is terrible , Salo I agree. Lou can’t help himself. Needs to sign everyone that played for him in the past
