He probably is. Columbus just traded Bjorkstrand for a 3rd. I’m not even sure I can criticize the Toews trade anymore smh

How does the Bjorkstrand trade make the Toews trade any less painful?

My point still stands

You don’t even believe ur point lol. Ur massively back pedaling and ur pretending Barzal isn’t good. What a joke. Don’t ever call me biased or ignorant in the future. I would never disrespect ur fan base with an ACGM this ****ing bad.

This is obviously a big season for Barzal. Is he the 85 point guy from a few years ago, or a 65 point guy under the Trotz game plan. I think he will be in the middle and put up 75 this year with the PP being much better with Dobsons emergence and hopefully Wahlstrom gets a real shot with him this year.

25 goals and 82 points.

25-30 PPP’s for Barzal cause of Nelson and dobby

Who do you think you are to judge me so harshly? You're always the one who is looking to ruffle other people's feathers, not the other way around. Other users can attest to that. Gotta stop having a mindset of blaming your frustrations and irritations on other people all the time

I mean I know this trade doesn’t fill any needs, but this is a massive overpay for Barzal. He is very good but not good enough to get this package. This package is essentially 3 first round picks, and two second round picks. Basically 4 first round picks. To call it trash makes you sound like a child

Barzal probably signs with the isles for 9 mill x 8 , higher than his QO and about what he’d get as a UFA.

A right wing and a lefty d aren’t that far off in value. Bjorkstrand getting traded for a third was a terrible return given the fact that he’s a top line winger.

I wouldn't mind that for the Isles, and I don't mean that in a sadistic way

Toews was traded in a different off-season and he's a way better player than Bjorkstrand

That would be a dream, I’d go 20 goals 55 assists. More goals if he would shoot the puck more instead of giving up good shots trying to make impossible passes.

I mean I would never defend something this atrocious. And I’ve actually been pretty supportive of the Canucks in other threads. The fact you want to disrespect me and then constantly complain about it is a you problem.

He’s gonna shoot more so he gets paid. He creates opportunities at such a high level. It’s hard to imagine his line mates could be worse next year than they were last year.

Rumor was Lou told Trotz you can keep Leddy or Toews and Trotz told him to keep Leddy.

I’m not sure about that lol. Bjorkstrand is a great player. Fact he doesn’t get much respect is beyond me.

But my only point here was that somehow GM’s r getting even less for impact players now then Lou did two years ago for Toews. Maybe that’s just change over time. Or maybe other GM’s r somehow even worse than Lou.

Also I’m not “ruffling your feathers.” You are telling me Garland can be the center piece of a Barzal trade. If you don’t like being called out for it then don’t suggest it. You know you are wrong and maybe you should show other people more respect instead of pretending I am out to get you. I don’t care about you. I don’t care about the Canucks. I only care about it being a fair offer.

Yeah, Garland CAN be a centerpiece in a Barzal trade, he's that good. Obviously there would still need to be substantial value around Garland, but Garland DOES work as a centerpiece. Now you say you don't care about the Canucks, that sounds rather contradictory

I also criticized that god awful Podkolzin trade proposal. But again. When I say I wouldn’t do this because there is no one asset that is worth Barzal, you decide to come at me. I wouldn’t defend Beauvillier, Wally and 2 seconds for Pettersson. I expect you to show me the same courtesy.

I’ve said I only care about it being fair. Nobody would suggest Garland as the center piece of a Barzal trade unless they hadn’t watched Barzal play before. You are being ridiculous and you are digging in cause you know I’m right.
