I like Hanifin, but thats a lot to give up for a position where we have 4 NHL caliber players between Rielly, Muzzin, Giordano, and Sandin

Who do you think would be interested in him? Also has Brodie been playing RD with you guys? I have been seeing him at LD when I see the lines

I think you could but, like you said, Toronto wouldn't be a great fit for another LHD. Rielly - Muzzin - Giordano. Sandin sitting on the sidelines is already an issue.

Teams that maybe could use a Hanifin: SEA, PHI, ANA, SJS

Dube Kylington Zary and a 1st could get you Ehlers and a pick back in my book

Kempe for Hanafin.

Kylington at 2.5 is tradeable if they want to do that.

Not a bad time to explore a Hanifin trade. He's coming off a career year. Then next year, he's a year from UFA. There's the whole "American" thing, but I'd be more concerned about paying him anywhere from 6-8, whatever his ask may be.

Konecny just makes so much sense for CGY

Maybe Seattle would look into it as they need to move one of their C's soon.

To me Gourde could make a tonne of sense as he and Coleman made a dynamic third line that helped Tampa win back to back cups. Or maybe they get Eberle or McCann

Brodie was played at LD a lot out of necessity when Muzzin was injured and prior to the Gio acquisition. I think they'd rather keep him at RD considering he's played most of his career on the right, and we already have a logjam down the left with Rielly / Muzzin / Gio / Sandin. I think most teams would be pretty content with a Noah Hanifin on their backend. Id love him on the Leafs if we didnt have so many LDs. Maybe Pittsburgh? He'd be a definite upgrade over Pettersson (assuming they can get him off the books)

Philly has no use for Hanafin. Provorov, Sanheim and York have the left side.
