The problem with Nuge as 3C is that playing McL on the 4th line is a total waste.
If Holloway lives up to expectation & takes over a roster spot permanently, sadly McLeod might need to be moved next offseason... Unless they move Nuge, but with his recent new contract and NMC it seems like the plan is for him to be a career Oiler.

I don't see Foegele costing a 2nd. I think there's a non-roster asset back for Foegele, even if it's something underwhelming.

I always find it hilarious when fans of bottom dwelling teams are all like "our roster is set" and "we don't need anything" and "this guy wouldn't make our roster". I mean, Foegele was a 3rd liner on a Cup Contender and he's not even making the Sabres roster?? ROFL!

Who cares how deep they are, the more the have the better they are. Especially in a super deep draft.

Funny seeing a team who will finish in the bottom again say Foegele wouldn't make their team. He is easily making the Sabres third line. And plus you would be getting a 2nd round pick in whats suppose to be a deep draft.

because he is stuck in his own zone all game. stop over valuing your own players. Buffalo is a basement dweller again this year.

They're also the least physical team in the league by far. They'd love a guy like Foegele.

Every one has more pp/g than he and he is paid much more than Girgensons or Asplund.
He does not PK so he is not going to usurp Girgensons nor Asplund.
He does not score well so he is not going to knock out Olofsson nor Skinner.
He does not play center so he will not replace Thompson, Krebs, Cozens nor Mittelstadt.
