The only piece in this trade that’s attractive to Chicago is the 23 first, the rest is just junk

Not much value in that package. Actually have quite a bit of negative value going the other way which should up the amount of assets you’d have to give up for a retained Kane.

Ah yes. 1st and a huge pile of trash for a star with retention, and they throw in a role player with retention too. 🙄

I swear this site gets worse every day.

Add Debrusk and Smith and it might just work.

Smith gets flipped at TDL for a 2nd/3rd.

Debrusk, if he has someone to play with, could be flipped for a 1st and Prospect at TDL. Makes the trade more reasonable.

Yes… other teams will offer more but Kane in the Bruins makes them an immediate cup contender, which is what Kane will be looking for to waive his NMC.
