Don't see Calgary trading Backlund at all. I could definitely see them taking a run at Barzal at the deadline or next summer though if NYI is put of the race/he does the same as Tkachuk. Dont see that being enough though.

I think NYI looses that Pittsburgh trade pretty badly too

Pitt doesn't have the cap space to retain on Zucker and take all of Beauvillier.

Barzal's 10 mil salary/10 mil qualifying off is tough on any team.

Barzal isn’t available so that’s not happening. That isn’t even close to enough for Barzal anyways
