Less than zero chance Winnipeg overpays on 5 trades in a row. Chevy is far better than that.

explain why Anaheim does this? you know we have our own goalie who is still under contract for another 5 years along with Dostal and Clang in the pipelines

2023 1st = untouchable
Olen Zellweger = untouchable
Max Comtios = should not trade unless it is an overpay imo
Anthony Stolarz = trade at the deadline for a 2nd/3rd

Good offer but ask any other team to take Wheeler. He is for sure still very good ignoring his contract, age, and decline in play. Getting him for 4 million is pretty good and he is a positive asset for that but the Bruins just can’t take the older guy here. Keeping DeBrusk is much better for the future. Plus we drafted Wheeler so I don’t know if he’d want to come back.

Not sure why the Ducks need to do this with Dostal and Clang looking promising while still having Gibson.

Zellweger is untouchable.

Call up someone who needs a goalie, like Vegas or Toronto, or Edmonton when Campbell gets injured for over working.

@JJtrain knock it off with these troll goalie trades.

You've shaken my faith in your analytical judgment if you really think that Winnipeg is overpaying in the Anaheim trade.

Easy mistake with the drafted not coming to term with team that drafted him, would be a little ironic if he ends up there

Jets get FLEECED in Habs, Bruins, and Hawks deals.
In the Bruins deal, why would we retain and give up 2 2nds for the worse player?
Toews isn't worth anywhere close to a first, let alone giving up 2 elite prospects for him without retention.

The jets get the younger player DeBrusk and also lose some of Wheeler’s salary. They don’t gain space but now it’s easier to move out cap space with DeBrusk instead of Wheeler who otherwise would have had an 8 million dollar cap hit. That’s hard to trade out.

I don’t think you know what you’re doing on the Caps deal. Oshie doesn’t seem to have a favorable contract so his value is low. They just signed Strome so they wouldn’t trade him but in this deal they would. That is not enough value for Scheifele.

Do you really think the Jets world give Hellebuyck away for pieces that do nothing for them? Seriously?

I'm pretty certain that the Capitals have no interest in dealing Oshie. He would have been left un-protected in the Expansion draft if they didn't want him.

We're not saying the deal makes sense for them either, we are saying a top 10 pick in 2023, a grade A prospect, a young middle six power forward, and a very good backup goalie is worth more than Hellybuck on paper.

The deal is crap for both teams, but the Jets would technically make out better.
