Interesting, this is for sure a deeper forward group, doubt Edmonton would want to trade both those guys though.

Oilers decline. Dillon serves no purpose as they dont have a spot for him on the left side. Ditto for Harkins, if Puljujarvi is going they will need a RW guy.

Jets are light on right shooting forwards, so it seems like the Jets and Oilers aren't good trading partners.

I'd love to see the jets go after Jesse P but not sure how that works.
Jets could help out the Oilers by taking Foegle off their hands and paying for Jesse P
dont really know what the deal would be, but probably not for Dillon

Jets don't want to retain, definitely not that much anyway.

I think I'm the only Jets fan on here that thinks they should keep Dillon, running five 6' or shorter dmen is going to get them nowhere.

I really like Dillon and want the jets to keep him, but I thought he'd have the best value in a trade. Schmitt isnt worth his cap hit; Demelo may be too valuable for the jets to move; Pionk and Morrisey shouldnt be dealt.
I just wanna see room for these kids. Will the jets lose one of Stanley, GAWANKE or Kovacevic on waivers?? not sure who can be sent down

Dillon probably does have the best trade value, heard from one of the Winnipeg sports media dudes that the Jets have gotten calls on Dillon but don't really want to move him, who knows if that's really true though.

I wanna see the kids play too but just doubt they'll play them.

I hope those guys aren't lost on waivers, not sure who'll claim them though, they'd have to keep them on their NHL roster so need to have a spot for them. Samberg and Heinola are still waiver exempt.

Going back to my original comment, ultimately they're just not good enough so if they trade Dillon whatevs.. lol
With or without Dillon they have a bottom ten defense in the league and the top pair of Morrissey/DeMelo is bottom 5 in the league, they're going nowhere with that and thats without delving into their pretty trash bottom six, hate to say it but they should probably just rebuild.
